Patient case workshop

Managing loss of response to IBD therapeutics

This session took place on Monday 5 December at 17:00–18:00 CET. Module hosts Professor Taku Kobayashi and Professor Mathurin Fumery led a discussion on two patient case studies, drawing upon themes from previous modules. The workshop focussed on common challenges in the treatment of patients with IBD, including how to manage loss of response to conventional IBD therapeutics and failure of anti-TNF therapy.

Masterclass

What to do when there is no guidance in IBD guidelines

Listen to expert speakers Professor Janneke van der Woude and Professor Christian Maaser as they assess the current clinical guidelines in IBD management. Learn how to identify alternative sources of information to help make clinical decisions when guidelines are insufficient, focussing on three specific considerations: washout periods and subsequent treatment, pregnancy and malignancies.
