ECCO 2021 Symposium 1

We see what UC: time for a holistic approach to remission

In this ECCO 2021 symposium, Prof. Axel Dignass, Prof. Charlie Lees and Prof. Mathurin Fumery consider how UC impacts the everyday lives of patients and why a holistic approach to remission, centred on patient-important outcomes, can lead to improved management decisions that benefit quality of life. This session gives an overview of the unmet needs in current UC treatment and provides best practice examples of how to optimise patient care in the context of evolving management options.
